We have just finished with a custom
Telecaster that a customer wanted to have the
body hollowed out to make it lighter. The
weight went from 7lbs 15oz down to 6lbs 3oz.
Thats about a 1lbs or so difference. Doesn't
sound like much until you have to hold that
weight on your shoulder for an hour. It has a
spruce top and has a three tone sunburst finish
that was done in nitro lacquer.
